AG : We are running 2 Semi Automatic Plants having capacity of producing 30000 boxes per day.

CM : How important is the QC for a carton box manufacturing company and how do you assure the quality consistency of your various products?

AG : QC is an important part for any manufacturer, specially the carton box manufacturer because it is the first step when any product is packed and sent to the market for sale/end user. The carton has to be strong enough to hold and save the product from transportation and handling damages. We use standard mills papers with more Bursting strengths. Also we keep on testing the paper and boxes at every step in making of the boxes.

CM : How competitions are playing in the market?

AG : Though the market has changed a lot now as compared to 5-7 years back. People are more keen for quality instead of prices, they are okay to pay little bit extra if they are getting better designing and quality of the box. Still there are many manufacturers in the market which are spoiling it by making cheap quality low price boxes and many times client gets carried away due to the same.

CM : Do you have any expansion plan?

AG : Yes, absolutely. We are Expanding our business and planning to add another plant very soon. We are trying to take over the Perfume Liner business completely and will be exporting it to other countries soon. CM : How is the technology advancements of corrugation industry in India?

AG : It is very much advance now but as they say, everything comes to cost. So one has to shell out huge amount to invest in the plant to make it advance tech plant.

CM : What are the challenges faced by corrugated box buyer today and what have you done for it?

AG : I realized there is an issue that all the small quantity buyers like start ups etc., and new business owners are facing in the packaging industry. Every box manufacturer needs quantity order due to which placing a low qty order, one has to either pay huge development charges or compromise with quality and size of the box so we help such clients serving them with customized box option with as low qty as 500 boxes along with their brand name printed on it at a very economical prices.

CM : How do you forecast the Indian corrugation industry’s growth in coming years?

AG : It is going to be triple in next coming 10 years, what it is today in India. You see every company tries to showcase their product in best packaging possible and it goes very well with it- FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE LAST ONE. Even non brand or start ups too look for impressive packaging in terms of designing, colors and quality.

CM : What is the actual scenario for paper sustainability in India and how to make the paper more sustainable?

AG : Government is helping in all sectors to promote recycle of the products and here paper is the easiestone to recycle and use it again the same way. We are getting waste paper imported too from other countries which is also helping Indian industries to fulfil the needs of the raw material. We should promote seed papers, bamboo papers and making people aware of their usage and benefits.

Making a box with paper was never too easy, but with SPI it has become the best way to present anything effectively
