Silverton Pulp and Paper, a leading paper mill in North India, in association with Worthwell Papers, is pleased to announce the launch of its new containerboard solution – White Kraft Liner (WKL) to cater to the rising demand of premium packaging solutions in India.
Mr. Akshay Jain, Director, Silverton Pulp and Paper Private Limited, shared his vision “We envision to reduce the reliance on imports and enabling the Indian packaging industry in transitioning towards innovative and premium packaging solutions. Our vision is to optimise the packaging industry by catering to the need of the market – 28-30BF WKL with high brightness and smooth finish for excellent printability. White Kraft Liner-based corrugated cartons are essential across multiple sectors, including FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Liquor, Footwear, Fresh Produce, and Export Packaging, to name a few. However, the current supply chain for White Kraft Liner heavily relies on imports and curtails the export potential, posing challenges to initiatives like Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
